When we put our house up for sale, the market was horrible. There were houses in our neighborhood that had been for sale for over a year. Nobody was buying. We had to sell. We recarpeted and repainted. Karen did a superb job staging our house. It had never looked so good! She has a terrific eye for detail and composition; people walked in and fell head over heels in love with the elegant, classic look she gave our house! I was on the phone with Karen a lot; I was nervous about the whole process and needed a LOT of hand holding. Karen always had time to address my concerns. She was realistic, reassuring, grounded and kind during the whole process. When we did get a buyer, the whole process of signing the contract, inspections and closing was awful because the buyers were impossible and unreasonable. Karen was terrific. She managed to negotiate a fair price (despite the lowball original offer) and kept us sane through the crazy tactics the other side used.

We wanted a Classic Home in the Regency section of Leisure World: small, almost new, with soaring ceilings, a great kitchen, large, bright rooms, small garden, and most importantly—outside services.
